The services housed therein train communities and organizations to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergency situations. Hazardous Materials Training and Research Institute http://hmtri.org The Hazardous Materials Training and Research Institute provides training in homeland security, hazardous materials handling, industrial health and safety, and industrial fire and rescue response for trainers as well as responders. Midwest OSHA Educational Center http://www.hmtri.org/ehs_trng/moec_subdir/moec_subindex.htm The Midwest OSHA Educational Center provides occupational safety and health training for Midwestern business and industry, including HAZMAT, egress, industrial and construction safety training. AgPreparedness Center http://www.AgPreparedness.org The AgPreparedness Center delivers awareness and response training for emergency responders and focuses on foreign animal disease outbreaks that would threaten our food supply and agricultural economy.
